The subject of the cost of treatment, verses the benefit of living longer is a very personal one. Just like death bed promises, we will all be put to the test if we are in a life or death situation. For me, yes the priority would be I would rather be broke than loose a loved one second too soon. It must be noted also that it is not only older women catching this form of cancer. Imagine if you will the scenario of a young Mother with cancer given the chance to live another 4-6 months. Where there is life there is hope. The longer someone with a condition live, the closer someone is to finding a cure.
