Sorry I disagree,
Argentina defaulted on their debts, the IMF and everyone else said they couldn't do it, they would be ruined etc etc, look at them now they are going OK. The world didn't end for them. The current worldwide financial system is broke, even in the Bible they knew that you had to have a Jubilee debt forgiveness every now and then to reset the system.
That's what we need now.
Tourists would convert their money to drachmas like they do in any other country they visit.
Exchange rate? It would be terrible for the drachma vs the other currencies to begin with, but it would come back as their economy recovered.
Greek debts - there wouldn't be any because they would simply default. So no requirement to pay back any Euros.
