I, and Origin and BG should accept that ESG's gas is going to Santos.
Only an intervention by one of these parties, by virtue of a superior bid or GSA can prevent that happening now. Otherwise, ESG holders will benefit in a diluted way when Santos upgrades their resources and secures a 3rd Train.
Even your good self db seems to have eased off on your comments on the ESG thread. That, more than anything, speaks volumes about what is likely to happen.
It does look like circumstance and David Knox has won the day.
So in Origin's presentations they ask the question "from where will the gas come", we will know the answer to that question.
A: Origin will buy the gas from Santos.
