Tumsey, What is high impact is the news from Prana. JoN has done its job by checking the accuracy of Prana's claims before it is published. Most news has very little impact till it is published after peer review.
This is a very big deal. It is difficult and expensive to really prove a drug is disease modifying in a clinical trial. It involves a much longer trial. With this info they have left little doubt PBT2 is disease modifying.
Now consider the next phase 2b trial is to confirm the results seen in the phase 2a. It is also to show if the response they saw in the 2a is durable. Well I guess if they are growing new neurons, the result is almost a lock. It looks to me they have nailed the cure, or part of it. All just my opinion. DYOR, but dont take too long.
