Must be some horrific downgrade if it requires a trading halt of a couple of days in order to give the beancounters a couple of days to calculate the numbers, and then how to break it to the market. Most companies just come out the an announcment.
If it is a huge profit downgrade, then the trading halt may also be a stalling tactic in order to give the Directors sufficient time to flee to a country that does not have an extradition treaty with Australia. (lol)
