That 20% figure assumes that you can buy back in at the appropriate level. If the stock is soaring - eg, takeover news, or something else equally juicy - you might not have the chance, and you could find yourself in for a hell of a lot of money.
Shorting is fraught with peril. Nothing wrong with going down that path per se, but be aware of the risks. If you're not sure of what you're doing, it could ruin you financially.
