    Thanks for the expert analysis, Dicko. I'm sure it is appreciated by us laypeople. Some of the GT3000 presentations are a bit fuzzy around what types of holes it can and can't drill and case. You seem to have it nailed.

    There is not much information on the GT5000 yet, I admit,
    but I wonder if you think the design of the GT3000 is scalable to that size and if the GT5000 would do production holes to 4km for geothermal, like ptr needs?

    This old pdf has some technical info on the GT3's casing setup etc. and a few oblique references to the GT5 eg.

    'The GT5000 version of this tower is expected to provide over 200 tonnes of pull back that will deliver a capacity of over 6,000 metres for exploration and production energy drilling requirements.'
