1) IK (nor any other MD of either a publicly listed or private company) need to inform shareholders that they are taking personal leave. I'm sure that if it was leave/absence/resignation that was "market sensitive", a statement would have been issued. The Company (that I am aware of) has never failed to inform the market to date of anything that it is obliged to do.
2) Blaming MNM for the failed CR with Inter is a bit of a joke. Inter were being bombarded with propaganda emails from Greenies and no coal supporters, the share price had dropped below the CR level (because some shareholders were obviously selling - was it manipulation by some holders to make the share price drop to a point that Inter could pull the pin and have the CR fail?). Conspiracy theory - but who was the 2,000,000 capper just below the CR price - Calcifer?
I for one was buying and if others had done so, maybe just maybe, the share price could have held to a point where Inter stayed on board.
3) Cygnet are on board and (almost 12 months ago did a CR for MNM) - so they will back it up and see it through. They wont be put off by a few greenies chaining themselves in their office. Additionally, we have Directors underwriting $150K.
As far as I am concerned, the fundamentals have not changed, the world still needs energy, Vic govt needs revenue, Exergen need brown coal and MNM are jorcing it up and will have a few billion tonnes in an area with an already established mine - it all looks good to me albeit happening slowly.
For some on here, next you will be blaming MNM and IK for some idiot chaining themselves to a rig, PIIGS and every other conceivable issue that is affecting the share price/market at the moment that is out of MNM's control.
...and why? because you haven't been told IK is on leave!
Fair dinkum.
