Did your broker email you with this info? Would be price sensitive if true and you would think should be released to the market. Not having a go but how would Hartleys know what the Senegal govt is doing and what Ophir are doing behind closed doors. I do agree that this is insurance, albeit those Kenya licenses are highly regarded and extremely exciting.

The Senegal license is still legally in FAR's hands even though the Presidential Decree has not come through as yet. I doubt it will take another 12 months, based on the Bloomberg article The Big Bear posted recently. FAR are looking to drill 2 wells so would they delay another 12 months - doesnt make sense for the Senegalese government and their people, who desperately seek more economic stimulus and infrastructure in their conuntry.

I also agree with your analysis that these blocks could be quite cheap, time will tell.
