Hi ville first and most importantly I want to stress that you are one of many posters that I respect and over the time you have posted HC that I have gained substantial knowledge from reading. Also many of your posts have been extremely entertaining and funny, a life without fun is no life at all in my book so I do thank you sincerely.
I offer this as just something to take on board no more no less. I have often been guilty of and have wanted to believe PNA, OZL,and quite a few others share price should keep rising in a linear line for ever. If it does not, management is to blame many times its 100% true they are. But I do look at the current OZL management, and I find it hard to find a heap of fault with it. Maybe the 10:1 was a little big, and I remember at the time there were a heap of us saying it was. But I find no real hard evidence that that decision is to blame for the share price retreat. Global factors have impacted much more than the consolidation on most resource share price's. I look at the purchase of Carrapateena, I look at the u/g Ankata mine development, I look at the drilling the Munda deposit by the end of this year, aiming to increase by 3 years the mine life, I look at the capital return and the dividend, I look at the share buyback and the $750m of cash for M & A and I ask "what else could they have done?" We talk about game plan here quite often IMO TB has kept to his game plan, been consistent and diligent and open to the shareholders. He holds briefings at every quarter production report, half yearly and yearly.
Most of the stocks I have on my watch list have fallen by about a third of there recent high's sure some a little more some less. OZL is not alone here. Ville I wish you good health and all in all good fortune always.
