toly, I certainly agree that the market turmoil is adding to Lynas' first mover advantage. I am not buying today but I bought big yesterday. It is almost poetic justice that Lynas is the only truly fully funded rare earth company. Lynas had the bond investors bail on them in the GFC. If that would not have happened Lynas would have been the only non-China producer in 2009 or 2010 when markets recovered. Now we appear to be headed towards another global slowdown. All of our competitors are way short on building and funding. Moly will not get their government loan and have poured very little of the concrete they need to poor based on this weeks presentation. Great Western has avoided the big drop so far, but now is down to five weeks cash on hand with no options.
Moly is much of the calculated future supply of La and Ce needed in a tech world that is the bright spot in the global economy. This will be reflected in the basket and we should have good support after LAMP approval that appears near based on Lynas submitted and the news cycle going favorable. My guess we get some short covering late today and Friday and then LAMP approval next week or so. These are hard times for leveraged and perhaps some of the retired holders. But we are in this together and I see the light is very near. Hang in all and best wishes. And for the survivers we should have many chances to buy on the way back up. The key is the company story must stay in tack. So far so good on that front IMO. Cheers.
