Disagree about the over exuberant bullishness on resources, oil and minerals /metals.
Look around, more and more mining /resources companies are now falling over than previously had been the case over the last few years.
The bullishness in resources was last year. This year, the buyers are becoming more and more wary (witness China re BHP, Japan commenting on recent price increases, etc).
As for inflation - stagflation - no (for the reasons I have outlined over the past 2.1/2 years).
Inflation - really - others are now suggesting a possibly inflationary breakout. I was arguing such an outcome over 2 years ago on this forum, when most others were arguing deflation, depression, collapse and sky high gold.
Seems to be that the analysts at the Australian Stock Report (et al) have actually come to the party a bit late in making their predictions.
I am more interested in what people have to say about what will be happening 18-24 months out, than in what they see over the next 3-6 months (which seems to be the bread and butter of most analysts /commentators).
