    if your house needs a renovation you rent it out to bikers/prostitutes then claim on your landlords insurance. The price of landlords insurance varies and pays to shop around. Price also varies depending upon how much exess you want to pay. Remember the land will always be there so don't overinsure, it just costs you more than you need.
