Jack, since you ask, I put on record that I don't know Rod at all BUT thinking about his posts on NKP has saved me a sheet load of money. I suggest you do the same. I too was once an NKP tragic, watching my wealth dry up day by day. I too knew the excitement Pete feels when Mcleod posts a tantalising rumour.
Having said that, I like to think of Rod as an Emperor Palpatine to my Anakin Skywalker. Sure he, and other great posters like Kiwi and GoldenK (RIP,) turned me to the darkside of the NKP thread but I'm much better off for it.
