The ASX did rather well today, relatively speaking. It only fell 2.6%
Shanghai fell 2.8%
Hong Kong down 4.8%
Jakarta fell 8.9%, from near its all time high - they seem to have been in a bubble
Anything can happen but tonight Europe looks much worse than the ASX with most indexes there being down 4.5% to 5.5%.
So ASXCasino you can take a bow for your relative outperformance and give all the stockbrokers a bonus or three.
Today even the better goldies got a caning, despite the Australian price of gold holding up (due to the fall in the AUD relative to USD).
