I think the respect Cottee earned with QGC will be mostly lost with this move. Not so much that he quit, but the abrupt way in which he did it.
How many investors would follow him into his next venture after this performance ?
No doubt, both Cottee and the board probably didn't think their clash of ego's would result in a halving of the sp.
