What a LAME response to what I thought was a real debate. You have predictably failed to answer any questions put forword to you by me and others re some of your misguiding claims about unions and QAN.

FYI, my concern re QAN is not as a union worker but as a concerned investor about the future of QAN. I simply believe that current QAN management have it very wrong in persuing an Asian Strategy. I also dislike their hypocrisy and greed. Like I have said before, cheap Asian wages does not equate to automatic profits, just look at Jetstar Asia.

Another point worth considering, have you looked at what John Borghetti is doing at Virgin? He was recently quoted as saying that he has plans to open a service centre in Australia that will use the expertise of some 350 locally based staff. He, unlike yourself, sees value and excellence in local operation standards and I guess time will tell if he is right or wrong. I believe he is on the right track and that he will not only give Virgin some surity about its ongoing day to day operations, he will also be creating a division within Virgin that will add profits and value to the group overall.

Bossdog, I don't mind if you think I am crazy, that's fine. What I would say to you though is that if you want to post your thoughts on QAN and others, at least have a go at answering some questions put to you. I have at least backed my comments with figures and facts for all to see. You have just ranted off some figures that you have either seen the QAN spin doctors quote or that you have perhaps pulled out of a hat, like the 15% wage claims. If you want to make particular claims about the greed of workers or unions, at least back them up with some factual examples.
