We all hate waiting, but I suspect we'll be waiting a bit longer yet.

In Biotron's preliminary report - issued 30th August - both the HCV headline results and the commencement of the HIV trail were expected in September.

Now I notice that Biotron will be presenting at the Australasian Life Science Investment Summit in Adelaide on October 19th. See http://ausbiotech2011.com.au/submission-template.

Biotron's company profile, presumably based on information supplied by management, suggests a blow out in the September deadline.

The HCV trial? "Preliminary headline results are anticipated during the second half of 2011."

The HIV trial? "A Phase Ib HIV trial is anticipated to commence during second half of 2011"

I don't think it's any big deal if the results are delayed by a few weeks - better to get the results spot on than to go off half-cocked.

Also, it's a good idea to delay announcing the commencement of the HIV trial until the HCV results are released, thereby maximizing publicity.
