I wasn't haggling over days, just stating the obvious. An election is not due for 2 more years and I don't expect that to change.

I am proud of this government.

Are they perfect? Not at all.

To have government in crisis times is hard.

I suggested whoever won government here or in the US in 2007 was unlikely to be re-elected, because times were about to get really bad.

Labor squeaked back in and was probably a big mistake.

I would have advised they give it to the Libs and let them wear the continuing economic malaise.

If you think governments can reverse cyclical declines then you shoudn't be on this forum.

Markets and economic cycles are fixed and if you think changing leaders or parties will solve your investment decisions then there is no hope for you.
