According to this Bloomberg article, the US and European governments are currently reviewing their subsidies of billions per annum to biofuel industry.
If they then decide to cut back these subsidies biofuels may not be viable, and then the fertiliser sector would lose some of it's huge driving force.
The question is how likely are these governments to decide to reduce subsidising the biofuel industry?
