PS So in defense of charts, you want us to believe that you had "a strong intra-day sell signal within a Mandelbrot based system" that you developed, but did not act on it coz you don't trade FML anymore! AND you did not post it or warn others etc!?
So in other words we are expected to believe that you did get full warning, your brilliant system (chart) is accurate, but in this case had no practical purpose coz you did nothing with it!?

Excuses like that are typical of all chartists I seem to read, instead of "Warning, my chart says get out now, I have sold everything today coz the whole market will tank tomorrow", I am more likely to read "if this chart movement happens then the market may go up, or if this blah blah chart thing happens the market may go down", which I find useless.
Do us all a favour, the next time you get "a strong intra-day sell signal within a Mandelbrot based system" that you developed, please post it, take action and warn us all, then we could truly judge if you (or other chartists) are capable of such things. Telling us later that you really did see it coming but didn't do anything about it, is not helpful and hard to believe.
