everyone was telling me the same thing when the market was 4800 .I'm a great one for anecdotal evidence myself but I think the situation is fairly complex here, the combination of an appalling macro situation with a market that , on the face of it , appears to be at a low level

I don't think it's a situation where you should be too dogmatic either way ( when is it ? ) , because it could turn sharply very quickly.
