    Slura,

Your post raised some good points.

Of course they will be dismissive, they have proven themselves to be extremely arrogant over time and nothing has changed. e.g. 71% pay rise for a CEO who is at the helm of company that is fast losing any reputation that it may have had for standards of excellence. All this while they sack some pilots who are an asset to the company and don't want to go. For those who have accepted a VR package and want to go, good luck to them.

Another example of arrogance, QAN has completely dismissed the issue of a no confidence vote that has been proposed by the pilots association. Who are they to decide what can and cannot be put forward at the AGM? If shareholders raise their concerns about the performance of the board and management, then those issues should be on the table and discussed at the AGM. Just remember, the pilot's association through its shareholding members has met the necessary guidelines and numbers needed to put forward a vote of no confidence. Why is it that the board and company can just dismiss it, after all, it is shareholders money that pays the wages (excessive ones at that) of the board and management? I thought it was the shareholders whom they have to answer to, in this instance it seems they can do what they want, when they want to. They are not giving democracy a fair run, the height of arrogance IMO.
