farewell anvil!, page-2

....I bought my first parcel of 20,000 Anvil.....in July 2002....at 14 cents. I think there was a 10:1 consolidation in there somewhere after that.

Sold most of my shares over the years, with the last now to go.

Bill at Anvil, Craig at Equinox and some others were true battlers that built successful companies against a lot of adversity....through the good times and the bad.

One has to laugh at all of those warnings about the political and related risks of operating in Africa...when ultimately we find Australia has higher risks (mining tax, carbon tax, Labor government)

My thanks to Miningnut and others for many enlightening posts over the years.

I suspect that DML will be the next cab off the rank to go, then TGS some time after that.

Thanks for an amazing ride Bill, it was certainly never boring.
