Dow futures are hovering around even, Aussie futures are in the green and I would wager that the big pullback on gold last night signals at least another up day for the US. Italy and Greece are just media tools to put some reason to the big swings that are happening atm but the real driving force is the big instos that are making an absolute killing from the volatility.

I think waiting for good market conditions to release results is a mistake since the positive and negative effects are being balanced right now to enable big swings. All that changes is what will receive attention in the media on a particular day. Bring on the results, the two week window for the director changes ended on monday so there is really no other reason to wait. I am hoping it will be today but am content to wait as long as necessary.
