rental agent - non performance, page-7

As a tenant i was given notice to quit on 3 seperate occassions due to failure to pay rent, had to take time off work to provide bank statements to prove payment, as it turned out the money was lost in the agents trust fund, the money was paid direct debit into their account/trust? fund, i have never missed a payment and have glowing references from previous landlords, but the owners would have lost me as a tenant and i would have been given a bad credit rating just because the agent was not doing their job, stayed there 3 years and when i left they tried to hold back my $2000 bond because a lightbulb had blown and not been replaced, had to drive 20 mins to give them the bulb in order to release my bond, needless to say i will never deal with that agent as a renter or a buyer, nor will my family ,my friends and anyone else i see fit to tell,and who will suffer, the owners dealing with that agent, ask for a reference for your agent, not just your tenants.
