"heard them discussing the price of new cars on radio 2gb this week..
either the 60's or 70's
new falcons sold for $2000
how much do they go for today....is it $40,000 or thereabouts...
the bears still want to buy the new cars at 60's prices...."
I doubt it, in 1960 it took about 44 weeks salary to buy a car
now its about, what 30 weeks? and the car you get is far better especially if you are shelling out 40k rather than 25k
there is this thing called "inflation" and "wage growth", you might want to look up
