Baillieu/Ryan are the best thing which ever happened to the bushfire survivors. They slip in and out of the areas without any media fanfare or photo opps.
They are stuck with Myki and had to make hard decisionsabout which was worse - keep it or scrap it.
The de-sal plant is going to cost Victoria multi millios -into thj billions - with enormous tradesmen rorts - this goes for the next thirty years - with not a drop of water needed. and ot a darn thing Victorian Government cn do about this huge massive waste, which impinges on every budget for the next thirtyy years massively. I am very vero close to the bushfire scene and its intracasies and possible outcomes - and think I know a lot more than you do about what went on - what's going on - and what's in the future. Bushfire people are doing it tough. The help came from national public donations - NOT the Federal Government per se. And Labor dominated local councils are hopeless to deal with. Too much "jobs for the boys" - who don't know what the hell they're doing!
Gillard, a so-called Victorian, is determined to put any brakes and blocks she can on the Baillieu Government, to make them look bad. The lazy inept tag belongs entirely to her and this rag tag procession of sycophants not earning or deserving their money, keeping the back benches free of splinters.
Gillard appears only when there's a camera. Gillard is all for Gillard. And that's the sad truth.
