Thats okay z. You read whatever you like into that statement and completely ignore the context of the remainder of the paragraph if you like. It might be "clear" in your mind but that doesn't make it so and it doesn't make any of the other statement true either.
Yes the announcement does tell us that its a new group but WM has referred to these people as the new group(s) for the last couple of months in announcements. Nothing "New" about that ! Maybe he should have said the new new group lol.
You are usually one to jump on inconsistancies in announcements but find it conveniant to ignore the one in this paragraph which states both "The discussions with the new group having commenced in the past 7 days are ongoing" and "Presently the progress of those discussions is affected by the holiday period in China between 1-7 October when Chinese institutions and companies are closed". You draw all of your conclusions from this bit about "commenced in the past 7 days" despite the fact that he also says that he negotiations stoped for the last 7 days. It looks to be an error and conflicts with the other sentence in the same paragraph which you strangely make no mention of. But sure, if you wish you can call it clear.
Like I said, I don't have all the answers but I'm not here telling everybody that "its clear" this and that when there is no reasonable evidence to support such claims. Its fine to have your own interpretations but unless you have proper evidence don't be telling everybody that they are facts.
