    who cares if there is one set of rules on drugs for locals and another for western visitors.

    It is their country, their laws (which are made very clear) and how they enforce them is their choice


    If you are a visitor to somewhere like Bali and you have absolutely nothing to to with drugs and don't break the law you will not have a problem.


    As for Dean Laidly and his family - the "we weren't doin nuthin" does not really wash

    Just out of nowhere his family out of the 1000's of visitors a week cop a beating for just being there?
