What about the possibility of traders who have shorted BRM and driven it down to current levels, now trying to cap it to prevent any movements back up before they are ready.
I know my broking service allows shorts on BRM, because I have checked this before. If they do, I presume most other brokers do as well. There has been an opportunity for enormous profits for shorters in the share price decline from the $5-$6 or so down to current levels, particularly if the same traders are able to manipulate the stock back up again, after exiting their short positions.
Food for thought.
