When you become too predictable day after day, you become easy prey, whether bull or bear. One thing I always remember is that the big money preys on the most extreme sentiment both ways.
As for your 500 point XJO prediction, it is not worth considering such a target now because it is simply too far away. I'd suggest if we get there the world will be a very different place compared to where we are now. Anyway, I see 3,200 as being a realistic target if the world economy enters a double dip recession. If we get there, I'll reassess my targets then, whether bullish or bearish, but most importantly, I'll keep an open mind.
I value the XJO thread and all its posters because it helps me to form an opinion of overall market sentiment. It is an invaluable tool which I use to help guide me in the timing of my trading decisions. Many thanks to all posters.
