Mercury is actually going through Scorpio not Sagittarius.
It might cause some havoc during this time, but with the recent strong full moon and upcoming conjunction with Jupiter (expansion) in Taurus i just can see anything unexpected (Uranus) happening.
With mercury in scoprio, we might see some words said in the name of pride, which others may take as defensive, and the trickster (mercury) i think might stir the pot. The only time i possibly see mercury getting worked up is at 5.55am AEST on Tuesday 18th, where mercury is opposite Jupiter (expansion) in Taurus (rules finance). There might be some strained (tension) words said around this time.

With any major aspect, such as the those in late October, you need to give it a good Orb factor of up to 4-5 days either side.
