Can't understand the whiners on here that are so distraught over the fixed price period. The fixed priced period actually makes sense to begin with. Would all the whiners be happy if we just went straight to the flexible price straight away?
Labor have always said they wanted to price carbon based on an ETS. Did the whiners hear that or did they choose to ignore it.
Honestly, splitting hairs calling the fixed price period a tax but the flexible period is not. Cannot understand the logic of some.
