Only for the wealthy excelsior. Thats why the Liberals keep refering to the carbon tax as income redistribution...taking from the rich and giving to the poor.
Or don't you agree with the Liberals? Actually I don't.
I see it as the rich consuming the most and in doing so generating the most pollution and finally being made to pay for it. The amount of carbon tax you pay is directly proportional to the amount of fossil fuel you consume so even the rich can avoid it by consuming less or switching to renewables.
