Exactly Jantimot. We humans are prone to destructiveness. Whilst I'm an atheist, I can see that generally religion does have an underlying peaceful philosophy. That it is used as a vehicle for massacres etc does not necessarily reflect upon the underlying values. I don't think Japan in WW2 was reciting Taoist mantras as they went to war in the Pacific.
