    bungi,

    I just re-read your post

I think I didnt understand that time, lol

The Pro's will usually sell on good news of some sort, thats because they have VERY LARGE orders to place and cannot just sell in one lot (like we can).

If they did try to sell in one lot they would have to take much lower prices as there would not be enough demand to satisfy their order.

So they wait for a good news event (in most cases), like earnings or drilling results or something.
They also Prime the media with the good news, so they can get some coverage on the TV or Newspapers, so everyone who is interested, KNOWS about the Good News.

This creates the demand for them to sell into, and the news might really be good, the Pro's dont care, they would have bought at lower prices and now want to get out (for whatever reason), so the demand allows them to sell without marking the shareprice down against their selling.

and the herd who are buying the News, think they are getting a great deal, as the shareprice hasnt move up very much, lol

Is that a better answer ??

    cheers
