I trust you trip went well- how was Bintan ? Might be time to underweight in any Indo exposed stocks - looks like JI is about to rear its head again and sentiment in these parts will not be good.

In regards to NCM. I heard the same at Christmas. Wish i acted on the news but seemed so contrariry to other things I was hearing I dismissed as rant (far too much grog had been consumed !). In NCMs favour however is a diversified portfolio of mines - you can be sure they will be pushed to the max to compensate for Telfer.

I will try and get the good oil.

In regards to Gold price I concure there will be a rebound of sorts. As I understand -Cyclical physical buying starts in earnest around July (Indian wedding season). Twin deficets in USA will not disappear soon even if rembibi peg is removed,and inline with a general US policy, the greenback should remain weak. I gotta say though - global economics is a black art.
