Pilko3, no, I don't currently hold shares in Range. I used to though, and might do again soon.

I'm posting because Range is in interesting times. No one here can 'downramp' a stock to make a material difference to the market (the volumes on the ASX are almost always under a million, with nearly 2 billion shares in issue I strongly doubt the ASX is driving the price).

I don't think it's 99% a duster- the truth is I've no idea right now, and neither do any of us. However, it is best to talk about the subject of 'what to do if the well IS a duster' now, rather than talking about it on the morning of the announcement when panic has set in. You'd be wise to plan your strategy now, and then act on it when the time is right.

I'm not committed enough to spend my time trying to 'deramp', in the hope that it actually affects the share price. I'm not going to buy in until results are announced either way- and after results are out, the content of the announcement will determine the share price, not any posts on a bulletin board.

The truth is- if the well flows commercially, and oil is found, then I'll move on to the next share. There's plenty of cheap shares around right now after the global market sell off. I won't have lost anything other than a bit of time spent waiting if the well proves to be commercial. Will wish everyone good luck, congratulate them on their success, and move on.

But if the well is a duster, I do plan to buy in (at a certain price), and so am 'interested' in Range and their prospects currently. That's why I'm posting.
