    Bowral (after a rant about who knows what) said: "Judeo/christianity believe that a supreme spiritual personal being, created the world"

    i already pointed out how the Book of Genesis is merely a parable because it is illogical

    for example, in Genesis, God created the world, which he regarded as "good", and then "God" destroyed the world he created, because he regarded it as "evil"

    Genesis is merely a parable about the knowledge of good & evil; that from the knowledge of good & evil come all kinds are arguments, debates, conflicts & sufferings

    for example, if we believe Judeo/Christianity is "good" and believe DDzx is "evil", then, like the story of Kane & Able, where one brother killed the other brother due to the knowledge of good & evil, we transform a mere academic discussion about religion a personal vendetta against DDzx

    so returning to the academic discussion, the Bible says what is quoted below:

    it is simply saying the things we regard as "good" end up creating concepts of "evil" (in opposition to the "good") and therefore turmoil for us

    for example, if we believe Judeo/Christianity is "good", we can end up like those Christian peoples of the past that have murdered other human beings (eg. the Inquisitions) to defend Judeo/Christianity

    ++++

    Genesis 1:31
    God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

    Genesis 6
    The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the LORD said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.”
