1. when governments of the west included "God" in their constitutions, they were involved in or part of the brutal Western colonisation & exploitation of the world, which both religion & politics participated hand-in-hand
2. today, the USA remains a moral mess, a nation controlled by right wing Christian peoples
3. discussion of the current Australian constitution has (correctly) admitted that 'God' can be understood as a metaphorical representation of values
what real religion is, from a real Judeo/christian perspective, is quoted at the bottom
real religion is just about human morals & something divorced from the world & politics
obsessions with Creationism, as I previously suggested, just alienates human beings from reality
the only benefits religion can provide the world are moral benefits
moral values are basically the same in all religions, whether theistic or non-theistic
but history shows the God-delusion, for some reason, makes many religious people stray from their morals
