snuff, are you referring to the historical record that chronicles Jesus Christ's existence? Because if you are, no such records exist. Outside of biblical teachings and works, Jesus', as a real person of history, is very hard to find. Strange isn't it, when the Romans were such great recorders of history- Mary and Joseph were apparently in Bethlehem for a census. So, from the very time of Jesus' alleged birth we can see that history and particulars of people at the time were being noted down. Move on a few years and Jesus was at the centre of a huge controversy. They released a murderer rather than Jesus. Pontius Pilate washed his hands of the affair. Jesus had the mother of all crucifixions because of who he was. Yet, there is nothing about this in historical records.
The church[es] could get away with this great con in less enlightened times but i'm stuffed if I know why people still swallow it in this day and age...?
