    Mate don't let a few facts get in the way of another one of your ill-informed rants.

    The really big joke is that cotton farmers were once amongst the worst polluters, but due to tighter regulation this is less so these days. Where did I get that from? Well here's a start:

    "A commonly used farm chemical has been found in a Great Barrier Reef catchment at levels an alarming 50 times higher than those considered safe.

    Diuron is found in more than 100 products and is primarily used in sugar cane, cotton and weed spraying and in anti-fouling paints."

    Surely you are not suggesting we put a blanket ban on cane and cotton farming as well? Maybe they should ban the use of paint in rural areas too.
