But if Turnbull was leader then I can assume that very few liberal supporters would not vote for him. I take it that they would do whatever it takes to keep labor from winning. So wouldn't the libs have a greater chance of winning with a candidate who appeals to a wider audience.
Personally, I feel Abbott is a high risk option for your side of politics and am therefore happy if he stays on.
