re: gold spec stock - experts? a short history of what i know of gir.
first purchased stock in 1989 @ 3.
major project for epithermal copper/gold targets in early 90s in indonesia with aberfoyle saw price peak @ 75 cents.
major shareholder stan mcdonald multi millionaire,and runs the show on the smell of an oily rag.this has been his baby since listing in 87,months, prior to crash.
in recent years they have concentrated there projects at the grass roots,moose-pasture type plays,and have not enjoyed a strong broker following.
overall impressions,if you have 5 grand for a little bottom draw spec,gir will, in time have another smaller run than the go-go days of 75,but could double or triple from these levels.
with the disclaimer that they enjoy good exploration results.they will also never fold,stan will not allow that to happen.
disclaimer i do not hold,or intend to purchase gir stock,just an observer of this counter after being a top ten shareholder and friend of stans.
i hope holders will reap rewards in this stock.
