My exact words were "UCG is not a commercially proven technology in the western world...".

Please don't refer to the US trials of the 70s and 80s, they were a disaster for the UCG industry. Furthermore they were just trials. There is only one UCG operation that I believe is a true test of the technology (Angren). The only downside to Angren is the unknown environmental impact of the UCG operation. I will hope and guess there has been none.
