"if plans dont go ahead", they still have a concentrator and LAMP engineering knowhow, but they don't step into the supply gap (is there still a gap??? :) for another couple years. So I think 50c would be generous if that happened but I really think there is 0% chance of this happening. Just imagine how ridiculous it would be for Lynas to have built a state of the art processing facility costing hundreds of millions of dollars, over 5 million man-hours of work, that would contribute 1% to Malaysia's GDP, certified as safe by the International Atomic Energy Agency only to be denied an operating license and told to do it all over again somewhere else. Imagine what other foreign companies thinking of setting up shop in Malaysia would do after seeing that? I really don't know how people can think this is a possibility.

However that fear "What if they don't get the license?", as evidenced today, is what allows the big players to fleece the little players out of their shares.

I'd be more worried about one of Fuziah's watermelons doing something to sabotage the LAMP, just hope they have good security.
