some of this is quite wrong imo struggler. many super rich don't give a damn about their wealth. they love what they do and the money followed. many are very philanthropic. gates, buffet to name but just two. 40 knows some too but they are small fry in comparison. most do care about the system but without them then perhaps there is no system.

with these wall street invaders : choose ten at random. give them a successful business each and go tell them to employ a few dozen unemployed to solve the issues as they see them. give them 6 months. those same few dozen new workers will very likely have cost the business it's life.

it's not so easy. the rich are there, not because they robbed people but very likely they actually gave people a chance to share in a success story. i agree that failure has been rewarded far too often and rules and legislation are definitely needed to stop this disease. reward success. lower wages and salaries and offer creditable commissions for success, be it long hours worked or targets achieved. reward success well and reduce incompetence by failing to pay for it.

how many people in this current wall st blockade actually did educate themselves ? I appreciate many did but from my experience it is usually the lazy, truant playing, wanna be rich but don't wanna work crowd that get involved in this sort of thing. not all, i know, but you get the jist.

i once told a story (too long here to scribe) that a country need not be built with money. but it was money that people wanted and as there wasn't any, the country never got built. if we all mucked in together to create a world and accepted food and shelter which we all joined into build then it can be done. money is the disease it is. it is not really needed. it's only to make life easier. but life has become too complicated.

remember when the pioneers came to oz 200 yrs ago? look what they achieved together. and where are the pioneers today ? there are a few but thats all. and they are rich.

if we all had some land and the same conditions to grow the same seeds, some of us would have a good crop at the end of the year and others less. why ? some would work harder than others. those with more crops grown could barter for something else. those who have no spare crops cannot.

    reward success not failure.

may have got away from the marketwatch bit but 40's angry when he sees all these people 'crying' instead of grouping together and doing something about it. spain has 20% unemployed. have you seen the weeds in the parks and along the roadsides ? these people are getting dole and sitting outside the borse shouting their heads off.

    be good,

    40.
