I think the current hate towards the 'bears' stems from an uneasiness and stress with the current market. I understand that.
The 'bears' need to be mindful that their opinions might come across as downramping the market, just like a stock.
There is a good quote which goes along the lines of...
Be wary of the bull that is always a bull.
I'll join your bull brigade when the time is right, currently I'm quite content with the bears.
