    Thanks Loogs. That's the sort of breakdown which brings the whole issue into stark relief.

    I just can't see how anyone invested in this company can look at the remuneration deals being bandied around for AS and believe that they offer great value (for the holders).

    As CEO he is doing a good job. So is Marius Kloppers. And let me be clear once again, I'm not bagging the individual just questioning the relativities here. Even the relativities within our company as pointed out earlier.

    Sure, if we end up making mega profits everyone will be happy and get to share in a bit of the action. But that still doesn't justify the extraordinarily out of touch deals being proposed, given we haven't turned a profit.

    And no, I'm not going to sell my shares because I don't agree with it. I'll do what every shareholder has a right to do and vote accordingly. Anyway, I still firmly believe in the product(s).

    It really does run counter to basic investing philosophy of being rational and unemotive, to believe that nothing is too good paywise for the CEO. Any CEO. Where does it stop?
